Preserving Boyd and Sam Carnley's Work

Boyd H. Carnley (1940–2008) spent many years compiling family records and created the original Carnley.org genealogy website. Sam Carnley continued the work and wrote the family history published October 8, 2006. This collection preserves their historical research for future generations.

The material is preserved as historical research, not certified genealogy. Dates, spellings, identities, and family connections may contain errors. The archive is not actively updated.

The 2005 collection identifies 5,139 individuals and 1,579 families. Search names, browse the descendant register, and trace recorded family lines. The original GEDCOM database itself was not recovered.

Understanding the Original Records

“Private” is a label used by the original genealogy database when dates or other details were withheld. Names in those entries are retained as printed in the historical index; the missing details are not inferred or filled in.

The original research contains some potentially living people. Their entries are historical transcriptions, not independently verified public biographical profiles. This archive provides no contact directory or submission system.

View the original descendants transcription for research context. The searchable records are embedded in this page; unusual spellings and uncertain dates are deliberately preserved.
